Here’s an example of a project that is more than it seems. The old roof construction design used sarking boards, meaning there is effectively no roof cavity. This added complexity to the job, as all roofs need a cavity in order to allow for proper air flow. A real benefit of re-roofing sarked roofs like this is having the opportunity to install insulation – and that’s exactly what we did. Not only do these clients have an outstanding new roof, they’re now enjoying cooler summers and warmer winters. This re-roofing project was complete with traditional quarter-round guttering and downpipes.
